New church community, looking for a good reach but with a focus on community. That also includes managing the websites internally, as well as the brand assets, with zero budget; everything needed to be organic in reach, and the brand assets had to do a lot of the communication on their own. 

I needed a symbol that carried the message they wanted (a verse from the bible); I also needed a symbol that communicated their values. So considering the name Arise and the need for a visual that created a warm community feel I put my focus on the sun, with the Son being a crucial part of Christianity, this seemed perfect; I just had to commuicate their values of building community, Intentional relationships and descipleship.  

The output was an Iconic feel of the sun as it rises into the sky, like a call to believers to rise and be ready for a new day where the best is still to come:

• The rays of the sun are mapped with 12 long rays and 12 short ones, a symbolic visual of the community and discipleship that is surround the Sun/Son
• The centre is the Sun/Son with all the rays on the perimeter, following the Sun/Son everywhere
• The colours convey warmth and Joy, reflecting the richness of life, a value that not even gold can rival. To emphasise the brand, the logo can use negative space in white or dark grey to symbolise the light that shines in the darkness or the light that leads Christians into an era of hope.
